She fist pumps, hair bumps, boy humps, and she’s running for president! Nicole Polizzi, better known by her stage name, Snooki, from MTV’s hit reality show, The Jersey Shore, is launching a campaign for president and is highly supported by her shore-mates and the rest of the young republican community.

The campaign slogan of the reality star is still in the process of being perfected, but some ideas have been thrown around, such as “Go Hard or go home, vote for Snooki!” as well as “Pickles for everyone!” This statement is also one of her main platforms.

The candidates platform also consists of taking away the tanning tax and lowering the drinking age to seventeen as well as stimulating the economy by making a mandate for every person to go tanning year round, which Polizzi says will make everyone look better and will also stimulate the economy by giving work to the new employees, tanning suppliers, and construction companies around the country.

The Brackety-Ack actually got the chance to talk via Skype to Polizzi on Tuesday and she told the paper a lot of her plans for the election race.

“After I run for president, Deena [Cortese, Polizzi’s housemate on the show] is going to be vice-president. I would get $h!t done in this country. The economy would rise, everyone would be tan, and all the radios would play house music,” Polizzi said.

Although she seems very carefree about the topic she is actually very serious about her country. She also told the newspaper that she would like to be called by her original name, Nicole Polizzi, so people will take her more seriously in the campaign.

Cortese is doing a great job as campaign manager and as Polizzi’s running mate. She even got the T-shirt shop that she and the rest of the Jersey Shore cast work at to make her custom made “Snooki for President” t-shirts. They are being sold around the country.

Polizzi recently had her first taste of politics when she was invited by President Obama to the White house so he could apologize for saying that he didn’t know who she was. This meeting is what served as inspiration to run for office.

It is believed that Polizzi took one look at the oval office and said, “I’m so excited to get this house, pop some bottles and hook up with my roommates.”

Polizzi and the president tanned together in the Rose Garden and she taught his children how to fist pump, but didn’t stay long because she had to go get ready for her first press conference as candidate, which will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m.

The conference was scheduled for an earlier time, but Polizzi admitted that she needs an hour to get her bronzer just right for the camera and she truthfully admitted that it’s hard for her to wake up before 2 p.m.
