The Haunted Zip line at Wilderness Adventure A New Way to Spend Your Halloween

This Halloween, many of us will dress up in fun costumes, go to a party or get lost in a corn maze, and maybe all three. Yes, these activities are most certainly fun to do during the fall season, but there is a new way to spend the weekend as well!

The zip line at Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing is a thrilling way to make the most of the fall season and get spooked! This fantastic outdoor activity and camp area is the home to several fun and challenging activities. These various outdoor ventures include rock climbing, caving, and several high ropes courses, enjoyed most especially when in good company.

This haunted zip line, located in Catawba, only about a half hour away from RC campus, puts a new spin on any zip line you may have experienced before; because, not only do you glide 900 feet over the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, you are able to experience it in the dark.

Although the initial reaction to this from most people is that of apprehension and fear, from my personal experience after going on the Haunted zip line, I did not regret it for a second. The Wilderness Adventure staff makes sure that you are able to have a fun and safe experience, using only the best available equipment possible; for the third longest zip line in the world.

Not only is this a fun way to celebrate Halloween, it is an event that CAB will be holding. If interested, head over to the Colket Center to sign up for this wonderful adventure! The tickets to go on the zip line are $20 for students and CAB will be leaving for Wilderness Adventure at 4:30 pm on Oct 29th.

So, if you are looking for a thrill and something out of the ordinary during this Halloween season, be sure to sign up! It will be a fun way to spend time with friends and a memory you can keep for years to come.
