OneRepublic took the world by storm in 2006 when they released their first single “Apologize”. In recent years, the pop band has been known for their songs “Secrets”, “All The Right Moves”, and “Stop and Stare”. Since the previous album “Waking Up” was released in 2009, fans have been anxiously waiting for another album from the band.

It looks like the world will have to wait a little longer for new music however. The band’s newest album entitled “Native” was meant to be released this month. The dates have been pushed back, however, and it is now going to be released sometime in January 2013.

OneRepublic was formed in 2002 in Colorado after members Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins became friends during their senior year of high school. The first album called “Dreaming Out Loud” was released in November 2007 and received mixed reviews from critics. Despite this, the band released their second album “Waking Up” in November 2009 to still more mixed reviews from music critics. Despite this, their songs have been featured in various commercials, films, and TV shows.

The first single from the album is “Feel Again” and was released in late August, though it was performed for the first time earlier in the month. It is possible that “Life In Color” will be a single in the future, but this is currently unknown. The band has released a list of songs that will be on the album and “Feel Again” is available for digital download.

Although the album is going to be released later than expected, listeners and fans can be sure that the music will be worth the wait. Maybe this time the critics will review “Native” better than they have the previous albums.
