Olde Salem Days was a major success when it hit the streets early on Saturday morning. The annual event started at 8 a.m. and ran until 5 p.m. The streets were booming all throughout the day with local vendors from near and far.
This is a huge accomplishment for the town of Salem to hold this event every year. An average of 90,000 people come every year to enjoy the events that the town has to hold. There are a numerous amount of attractions, which feature over 400 crafters, a surplus of food vendors, other assortments of entertainment, and live music. Every year, thousands of shoppers walk through the streets to find the perfect treasure, searching through the hundreds of tents.
Olde Salem Days has occurred every second Saturday in the month of September for over 30 years. It brings multiple attractions that pull in all sorts of people. Unfortunately, this year it rained for almost half of the event. But surely enough, the sun came out to warm the hearts of the town folk by the end of the day.
Next year, Olde Salem Days will occur on September 12, and we hope to see you there!
